This year's 5th Annual Oktoberfest Northwest Wiener Races and contests will be held on Sunday October 7th, 11am thru 5pm. Wiener Dog Races, Costume Contests, and fun activities for the whole family are just part of the day, along with all of the amazing festivities that Oktoberfest Northwest provides. Save $$$ and Pre-Register Online or Register day of in person from 11 am to 12:30. Only Dachshunds are allowed in to the event and will be allowed in to the pet friendly portion of the venue only. Visit our Rules page for info on race and contest registration. New this year! Free Wiener Scavenger Hunt! Get all of the stamps on your map, (while collecting treats), and you will get a free raffle ticket for special prizes! Drawings being held throughout the day. This year's top 5 racers and contest winners will receive a hand sculpted trophy worth between $150 & $300, a racing spot in the Seattle Seahawks halftime show on December 30th (race winners only), a Wiener Tales t-shirt and bumper sticker, and more to be announced. What else is happening? Lots of German Grub and Grog, The Oktoberfest 5k Stein Dash, a wonderful Entertainment Stage including Manuela Horn, German Dancers, of course the Chicken Dance, and more! The Wiener activities will incude Races, a Costume Contest, Longest Wiener Contest, & the Stupid Wiener Tricks Contest!
